IV therapy is fully bulk billed through Medicare, and we’ll handle all the logistics. Optional add-ons - like comfort packs, nutrition support, or emotional care - can be arranged to suit your needs. How It Works We know how hard it is to leave the house when you’re this sick — so we’ve made getting IV fluids and support as simple and gentle as possible. Here’s what to expect: 1. Book your spot Choose a time that works for you. fill out our Intake Form and await your Confirmation Email. Our online booking closes 18 hours prior to appointment times to allow us to prepare. If you need a last minute appointment, please give us a call directly. 2. Arrive and settle in On the day,you’ll be welcomed into one of our calm, private rooms at The Midwives House in Thornbury. There’s no waiting room chaos - just space to lie down, exhale, and start feeling better. Babies and children are most welcome, and catered for. 3. IV therapy and midwifery care You’ll receive intravenous fluids in a quiet, supportive setting. I’ll check in on you throughout your session, making sure you’re comfortable, and adjusting care to your needs. You’re never just left hooked up and forgotten. 4. Stay as long as you need Most IVs take around an hour, but you’re welcome to rest a little longer. You’ll leave with a clear plan, follow-up options, and the sense that someone is actually in your corner. We’ve designed this service to give you clinical-quality care - without hospital walls, long waits, or added costs. IV therapy is fully bulk billed, and you don’t need a referral to get started.
